All humans should live without exploiting other animals!

Because they are someone.

What we do

Abolitionist street activism

They Are Someone defends nonhuman animals against human exploitation. With our street action “Stand for Justice”, we work to dismantle the ideology that legitimises animal exploitation and treats individuals as property.

A dairy cow.
Her name is Jo!

For years Jo lived with a chain around her neck. Each time she gave birth, her calf was chained on the other side of the barn, out of reach. She could hear them calling. Woodstock Farm Sanctuary rescued her in January 2020, when the farm went bankrupt.

Today Jo is a shy cow who lives a contented life with her herd. Her best friend is named Maybelle.

How you can help

Building a movement for animal liberation takes people who are ready to stand up for nonhuman animals, and the resources to make our work possible. Join us in dismantling the ideology that legitimises animal exploitation, or support our mission with a donation.
