Our values

We are guided by the principle that humans should live without exploiting other animals: A commitment to liberate animals from human exploitation and reject the idea that animals exist for us to use.

The message is simple:

Animals are someone.

They do not exist for us.

We are a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. What unites us is our commitment to this fundamental truth and our determination to act upon it.

We are an organisation independent of any political affiliation or religion and do not wish to promote either at our events or through our communication network.

We strive to build a respectful, productive and inclusive environment in which people can work together effectively. We do not tolerate any form of disrespectful behaviour, including harassment, bullying or discrimination. At the same time, our focus is clear: the non-human animals.

We are here to challenge the systems and attitudes that treat other animals as resources, and to work towards a world in which they are recognised as feeling individuals with their own lives, interests and freedom.
